For 2 days, the historic Clark Estate in Sante Fe Springs transforms into an art exhibition and festival, featuring art from local schools, local artists and even some prestigious artists. Music, food and vendors of all shapes and sizes are in full force as well. Check it out to experience a night filled with art in all its forms.
Introduced six years ago, the SFS ArtFest invites local artists to exhibit their diverse artwork and allows community members to participate in an evening dedicated to celebrating the arts. The event includes a myriad of art showcases, a variety of entertainment, an array of artisans, and various foods. The ArtFest has become a staple event for all local communities. In fact, in 2015, the SFS ArtFest was presented the Award of Excellence in the category “Creating Community for Arts and Cultural Services” by the California Parks & Recreation Society. This annual event draws more artists and more attendees every year. In 2017, over 3,700 people attended the SFS ArtFest and 325 artists displayed over 640 pieces of artwork. Additionally, the City has been able to feature well- known artists and recognize them for their contributions in the arts. This year, the event will continue to display wonderful art, have a full schedule of performance art, and a children’s art project area.
