The scale of Tokyo Game Show, or TGS as it’s commonly called, is simply enormous. The 2017 show welcomed more than 250,000 visitors. Its 300-plus exhibitors included the biggest names in video gaming, like Sony, Square Enix, and Capcom, as well as small start-ups and indie companies. All video game genres are represented, from complex RPGs to digital puzzles.
