About Balloon Fiesta
The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is the largest hot-air balloon event in the world, filling the New Mexico dawn each October with hundreds of balloons rising together in the crisp desert light. The mass ascensions are the signature moment, but the special-shape 'rodeos' and the after-dark 'glows', when tethered balloons light up like lanterns, are just as magical.
