About Fuji Rock
Despite the name, Fuji Rock unfolds among the forested ski slopes of Naeba in Japan's Niigata mountains each July, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful and best-organised festivals on earth. Trails wind between stages through the trees and along mountain streams, and the famously courteous crowd leaves the site spotless. Expect a broad international line-up, sudden mountain downpours, and a gondola ride to a stage near the clouds. It rewards good boots and an open mind more than a party mindset.
