About Roskilde
One of Europe's oldest and largest music festivals, Roskilde runs for a full week each summer near the Danish city of the same name and is famously non-profit, ploughing its proceeds into charity and culture. Alongside a fearless, eclectic line-up it is known for its warm, egalitarian atmosphere, its naked run, and a temporary tent city where the party often outshines the stages. The four warm-up days are free-spirited and communal; the four music days bring the world's biggest acts. It is as much a social experiment in living together as it is a festival.
“A week-long lesson in living together, wrapped around a fearless line-up. Deeply Danish, deeply good.”
