About Vivid Sydney
Vivid Sydney turns Australia's harbour city into an open-air gallery of light for around three weeks each winter, projecting vast animated artworks onto the Opera House sails and buildings while a program of music and ideas runs alongside. The light walk around Circular Quay and the Royal Botanic Garden is free and family-friendly, best experienced on a mild evening stroll. It has grown into the southern hemisphere's largest festival of light, music and creativity. Bring a jacket and a camera β the reflections on the water are the whole point.
“The harbour city as an open-air gallery of light. A gentle, family-friendly wonder.”
